The Boston Academy of English (BAE), has a special rate for au pairs registering for part-time evening or Saturday English classes in 2009. All our English courses are accredited by ACCET.
Au pairs may register for:
a) three (3) part-time Weekday evening sessions
---OR---
b) three (3) part-time Saturday sessions and an 18-hour independent program
Program cost of $695 (for the part-time program) which includes registration, all textbooks, and a total of 72 hours of credit.
Au pairs may also register for two (2) part-time weekday sessions, two (2) part-time Saturday sessions, or one (1) of each, for a cost of $575. This rate includes registration, textbooks, and 48, 36, or 42 total hours of instruction, respectively.
The part-time English sessions begin year-round at BAE and last 6 weeks. Au pairs can choose to study either Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:15-8:15pm or Saturdays from 9:30am-12:30pm.
To qualify, au pairs must pay in full ($695) at the time of registration or the first day of class as well as present their official au pair identification card.
Register for our Morning Intensive English Program
If you work in the afternoons and Saturdays and have free time in the mornings, you may consider attending our Full time Intensive20 English Program. Meeting 4 weeks you will be able to get your 72 hours credit in only 4 weeks. Our sessions start very 2 weeks and the schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 12: 15 pm.
Placement test for the Eve. or Sat. Program
Before the start of the first session of study, all students must complete a Placement Test. This test is usually held the week before the start of classes, and lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour. Au pairs can arrive anytime between 4:00-7:00pm on testing day to complete the registration process and then take the exam.

NOTE: Full tuition payment is due at the time of the placement test, and must be made before student will be placed in a class
Placement Test for Intensive 20 English
Students attending the Intensive20 Program will take the level placement test the first day of the session at 1:30 pm. Aupairs must pay for the program ($695) at the time of submission of the application.

Certificate
* At the conclusion of the program, Boston Academy of English will issue each au pair a certificate that includes that total number of academic hours completed. Generally, 12 academic hours are equivalent to 1 credit, but this conversion rate should be confirmed with the au pair counselors.
