you many opportunities to improve your English language skills
outside the classroom -- and have fun at the same time!
Social activities Weekly group
social activities give students a chance to get to know each
other better, and to experience the greatness of Boston.
Examples of most popular activities include visiting the Museum
of Fine Arts, going to a Boston Red Sox baseball game, taking
a cruise in the Boston Harbor, having a picnic on nearby Boston
Common, and exploring the shops and cafes of Harvard Square
and Newbury Street. In the winter months, we also offer movies,
pizza, and game days at the school. Activities
are open to all intensive or semi-intensive students.
BAE also provides information about many popular weekend trips
to regional points of interest. The weekend trips are organized
and led by independent tour companies and are paid for by students.
These trips include visits to Cape Cod, New York City, Niagara
Falls, Montreal, Toronto, Washington D.C., etc. "BAE

month. Volunteer/internship opportunities Volunteering
in the community is yet another way to learn the English language
in Boston, and Boston Academy of English can help you to become
a volunteer. The Academy offers service
learning opportunities and internships for longer-term students,
helping you to interact with native speakers of English. You
might visit a public school classroom or nursing home to tell
others about your country, participate in a sponsored walk,
or take part in a community farming project. No matter which
option you select, you will be practicing your English all along

access to to the Internet; e-mail; reading comprehension, pronunciation,
vocabulary and grammar games; interactive dictionaries; and
TOEFL preparation software.
